How can modern special effects live up to the quality of the original masterpiece?

I’m just trying to think of somebody who can replace Allison Hayes? Ella Hunt? I was thinking about someone more like a Christina Hendricks-type figure. Hendricks would have killed it years ago, but she’s probably older than what they’re looking for.

There's no replacement for Allison Hayes and that goes for Yvette Vickers too. Hence, films like Christopher Guest's 'Attack Of The 50 Ft. Woman' (1993), Fred Olen Ray's 'Attack Of The 60 Foot Centerfold' (1995) and Kevin O'Neill's 'Attack Of The 50 Foot Cheerleader' (2012) have failed to register.

Well, possibly, but would it not be like handing her a poisoned chalice?
