Oh my god we are going to be worse than the boomers. The 80s are about to turn 4 decades old in 2 years. When we were kids watching Back to The Future in 85, I hated the longing for 1955 life by the grown ups!

When we were kids watching Back to The Future in 85, I hated the longing for 1955 life by the grown ups! I often ask myself why I believe the best period for music was 1978 - 1983. Is it nostalgia? But no, I truly believe that was the most creative and varied period ever. I.e. the best. You had rock, prog rock, disco, punk, new wave, electronic, new romantic, ska and mod. No other period has offered so much variety and quality (band's creating their songs rather than producers). It is a truly unique period of 5 years. |
