Are there any albums that were made but with little enthusiasm from most or all the people who worked on it (regardless of album quality)?
For example:
The Beatles - Let It Be

I always got the impression this was the case with 'The Hunter' (1982). Blondie had been on a formidable 5-album run, always bringing it live, but then the wheels came off in dramatic fashion. I feel they sound hollowed out and burnt out on 'The Hunter', and I have little enthusiasm any time I hear it.

Wasn't Metallica's Reload just all the songs not good enough to be on Load (which I didn't think was very good to begin with anyways)
