So...the entire article is based on a Palestinian organization's testimony? Cool story, bro. In all the mass chaos going on in Gaza, relatives found a car with family members in it and figured out that the 6 year old had been calling for help to an ambulance. No explanations about how she had a charged cell phone that could last hours on the phone with dispatchers.
An ambulance is wrecked near there, so they figured out that Israel had targeted the ambulance so it wouldn't pick up the 6 year old and her family.
Then the relatives found Reuters to write up the story.
Pretty far-fetched.

If there's audio of the six-year-old on the phone for hours, release it, otherwise STFU. Also, we're supposed to believe that every adult with her was dead, but she was the one to survive. And then knew how to get on a phone (that wasn't destroyed when her family was killed) and call for emergency at age six. And then somehow survived for several hours while chatting on the phone.

Also, no one found this dead family in a car until relatives found them. In all this chaos. It reminds me of the story about a young girl's family being killed on a beach in Gaza. She was closer to the Sea and a PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP just happened to be filming her walking along without a care in the world when suddenly there was an explosion away from the beach. The photographers followed her as she ran up the beach screaming as if she knew what had happened and who had been hit. It was her family - oh no! They filmed a hole in the sand. No bodies, no blood, no beach chairs - just sand. The girl screamed and screamed at the nothing-but-a-hole in the sand. In the released video, they included stock footage of a big gun being fired from an Israeli ship as if this big gun had been aimed at her family. They got away with this utter and complete nonsense. One of the Hamas leaders said he had adopted her as a daughter. Nothing about her or the family came up again as updates. Just a damning video claiming that Israel had fired upon her family while she was being professionally filmed.

They do this so much here that it's called "Pallywood".

winterssuicide When the "Jenin, Jenin" farce happened - it was a situation where the terrorists claimed that 500 people had been killed but the UN had to admit that it was only 50 because they did the graves - the Pals were hamming it up with lots and lots of funerals. Israel was filming from a helicopter as a bunch of fairly small funerals were happening. In one of them, the stretcher bearers dropped the body by mistake. The body got up and ran away. It scared the hell out of the enlisted mourners.

Imagine if police told a bank robber that they would kill all of his hostages unless he surrenders. That's basically Israel's strategy in Gaza. Both sides see the human lives in Gaza as worthless and expendable. They only care about themselves. Imagine if police told a bank robber that they would kill all of his hostages unless he surrenders. That's basically Israel's strategy in Gaza.
Nonsense. Israel has no intention of killing all the 2 million Palestinians in Gaza. That would be Genocide, the real kind, not the Israel-basher's propaganda kind. If Israel could destroy Hamas without any Palestinian civilian casualties, it would. But that is impossible in a densely populated place like Gaza. Israel only has bad choices here. It can destroy Hamas, but it will mean a lot of civilians killed. Or it could prevent civilian casualties by allowing Hamas to survive, rebuild, and launch more October 7 massacres, as it has promised. Israelis are united in the belief that the latter choice, while bad, is still better than the former. Whether it will amount to genocide remains to be seen, but this idea that the numbers have to reach a certain threshold or murdered within a certain time frame sidesteps the stepping stones to genocide.
If the intention is not to kill everyone then they're off the a lousy start, but this idea that a genocide in the making isn't genocide until the final body of that group is buried is obtuse. Six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust weren't murdered in a span of 4-5 months. According to Al Jazeera, 28,000 Palestinians have been killed as of yesterday; this does not include the 67,000 + wounded and thousands more for whom starvation and lack of access to life-saving supplies are pending. It's been 5 months since October 7. How long will it be before one day their population is in the tens of thousands, or the thousands, or the hundreds? If Israel could destroy Hamas without harming civilians, it would; that's not a viable option past or present. What this all amounts to is the lives of civilians are not a deal-breaker.
At any rate, this thread is looking weird, like it's morphing into a support group for Sandy Hook conspiracy theorists.

The person who was dropped then appears to unwrap the sheet and run away, as do several others who were in the procession.
Eizen called the tape "testimony of the Palestinians' preparations for the U.N. committee's visit to Jenin. In this segment, you see a staged funeral that the Palestinians organized in order to increase the number of the Palestinians killed in Jenin ... It is very clear and easy to see that the body has apparently 'resurrected' and that the whole funeral is actually one big charade."
U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan announced earlier this week that he would disband the fact-finding team created last month to probe the Jenin conflict. Israel has questioned the makeup and mandate of such a mission. The U.N. Security Council is still deadlocked on the issue of Jenin.
Israel claims the funeral procession depicted on the IDF videotape aimed to dishonestly sway global public opinion by making it appear as if greater numbers of Palestinians died in the Jenin violence than, in fact, did.
"It is clear that the Palestinians are faking a funeral to increase the numbers of their killed," Eizen said. "They tried to falsify evidence in preparation for the committee by executing a fake ceremony, carrying the 'body' and filming the entire process.
"The funeral took place between the area that was destroyed in Jenin and the cemetery and people indeed joined the funeral, but when the person fell from the stretcher the participants were frightened, thinking the body had returned to life."
(Excerpt from faked funeral article.)

“The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) accused Israel of deliberately targeting the ambulance it sent to rescue Hind Rajab after she had spent hours on the phone to dispatchers begging for help with the sound of shooting echoing around.” ======== How do people living in a tent or car charge their cell phones enough to call for hours? Is there cell phone service in Gaza now? How the hell do you spend so much time on your phone/PC when you claim you're under constant siege?

this is so terrible! it just makes me wish Hamas hadn't crossed the border, raped, tortured, and murdered, over 1200 innocent, non-combatant Israeli civilians ! Doesn't matter what Hamas has done.
Unless they are the who killed them, they aren't responsible for her death.
Your argument is essentially the same as a wife beaters "look at what you made me do".

the October 7th attack wasn't planned in the vacuum, over 3,000 Hamas murderers crossed the border into Israel, they have families, they have friends, people knew about this in Gaza, and no one said anything, the people of Gaza are complicit in the attack on Israel and the leaders of Hamas are directly responsible for the aftermath
