What or who are “Weaver” and “Mildmay”? And is “Lioness” related to the nickname of the English Women’s Football team? Weaver is related to the textile trade, Mildmay is named after a charitable hospital in the East End and Lioness is named after the nickname for the women’s national football team that hopefully won’t get embroiled in poor results and scandals like most other British national teams.

It’s in the article, dude. Of course what the article doesn't mention is that the Mildmay line doesn't go anywhere near the Mildmay Hospital it is supposedly named after. It does run through Islington where Jeremy Corbyn used to be MP, but perhaps 'The Corbyn Line' was considered inappropriate.

Boris Johnson used to live near the Highbury and Islington station so they could have called it the Boris and Jeremy Line. Jeremy is still an MP although he’s no longer in the Labour Party.
