People here that know the first album.
Did you ever get the impression, that this singer is possibly embarrassed by some O those songs at all ?
And even another question. Do you know if tom waits never sang any of those songs later on in his career ?
Well, if he's embarrassed by them, then i reckon he never did sing them.
So if he never sang them, he most likely was embarrassed by the songs.
I'm saying, here's what possibly happened:
One or more years after his first album. He had maybe a concert or live album or both...
And he sang songs from his 2nd 3rd and 4th albums. But not his first one.
