I'm Greek and I never heard of a gyro until I was well into my 20's. We don't eat that.
But we do own all the charbroiled hamburger chains in the U.S.
Nobody's ever heard of a kebob either but there you are. Kebabs are Turkish, like Jill.

They do sell a lot of collard greens in Southern Greek restaurants. In Charlotte, I daresay there are 15 to 20 of these establishments. There used to be more but the old timers are dying off. Yuckocles.

You reduce Greek culture to a gyro? How insulting!! I'm Greek and I never heard of a gyro until I was well into my 20's. We don't eat that.
But we do own all the charbroiled hamburger chains in the U.S.
Well shit. I guess I should've conferred with you first. You do drink retsina though right?

Nobody's ever heard of a kebob either but there you are. I think that the term for that food has many variations. Here, schwarma in pita bread is a kebab.

Baklava and kebabs? Face it, Prince Myshkin, Greek culture is Turkish culture. Jill is your sister.

I noticed and just thought it was a regional term. What do you call egg rolls in the UK? We call them spring rolls. Spring rolls and kebabs are two foods with various different regional names.

I like mine with garlic sauce and hot chilli sauce.

I like mine with garlic sauce and hot chilli sauce. Oh yeah. I had a girlfriend in the 90s who lived quite central in Newcastle and on the way to hers after a night out with my pals, I would get a kebab and scoff it on the way there. Loaded with chilli sauce. Then I would get to hers and lick her pussy and she loved the hot and spicy all over her puss.
