THE ZONE OF INTEREST (2023). My Rating: 9,5 out of 10. Unlike any other film about the Holocaust, Jonathan Glazer's film is as haunting and horrifying as cinema gets and the ending will linger in your head for a long, long time; some stains on history will never go away. Nominated for 5 Oscars, it is one of the very best films of the year. In a chilling time of history when anti-Semitism is on the rise around the world in the aftermath of the barbaric, murderous Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, it is timely, essential viewing. A riveting, extraordinary work, it is VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, a film everybody should see.

Yeah, I saw it. It reminded me of the genocide Israel is committing against the people in Gaza. History has a funny way of repeating itself. Many times the oppressed become the oppressors. In my little part of Africa, it's 1.36 pm on a sultry Saturday afternoon in a suburb just above the inner city, I can see the sea from my top floor apartment, the quotidian is taken care of and I'm about to roll my first spliff of the day and start preparing lunch. I like you Borrie, but either you are trolling, or you are drunk on Palestinian propaganda and lies.
