It always gets me when they scream, have you found God and you say no, and I bet he is avoiding you you dreary bastard. And they take no notice and just carry on being mad and humour free.
I like a bit of religion. Christmas and Easter are fun and Herself likes to trot of to church on Sunday and pick up all the gossip, but these mad hedge preachers take all the fun out of religion

NOt really the whole story Yeah, I got the feeling that something was left out. I often go to Stratford and the area between the old shopping centre and the station usually has a lively bunch of Christian preachers with police patrolling the area and have never seen any sign of harassment. Mind you, perhaps I’ve never been there when Satan is in charge. |

I’m not sure if that can be classed as a hate crime as they also say that sort of thing about atheists. |

Ok, I'm unsure of your point? It seems like preachers can't open their mouths as much in Britain as they can in the US. Oh right. Nobody can. Our laws are very grey, a Public Order Offence can be any thing the police say it is and "hate crime" has no objective standard. I was told by West Yorkshire Police that I could be guilty "Homophobic Hate Crime" even if I didn't know the victim was gay.....And they stopped talking to me when I asked if they saw the problem with that. |
