The two songs that people remember the most from the album, and also consider to be two of the most memorable NIN songs in general, are "Closer" and "Hurt". "Closer" had one of the most memorable music videos of the 1990's for MTV. Hurt was famously later covered by Johnny Cash. There are also memorable songs like "March of the Pigs", "Mr. Self Destruct", and "Piggy".
