42/63182178 = a percentage so insignificant my laptop's calculator can't display it in a form I can understand. Instead it comes up with 6.64744415743e-7, with the e-7 part being a different way of writing a shitload of zeros, I can only imagine (being mathematically illiterate). But not morally illiterate. Our society and judiciary alike, for all their faults, are surely robust enough to cope with such clearly non-existential threats without abandoning democracy and the rule of law.

Is 63 million the population of the UK? If so, I am not sure that the percentage of the total population who are minors who have been arrested for terror offenses is statistically meaningful. The percentage of the population who do fly-tipping is also vanishingly small, that doesn't mean it's not a problem that needs to be addressed.

That's just children. The whole number of arrests in terror-related offences in the UK in 2023 was about 250. a. That's obviously not everyone who had been wanting to commit a terror attack in the UK b. Each such an attack has a potential to kill dozens or hundreds of people c. Each successful attack inspires more jihadists\Leftists\Nazis\unstable people This is not an insignificant threat. 9.11 happened because of 19 men.
