Timberwolves sweep the Suns. Durant can't win without Curry lol. Beal stunk, they were too small, no point guard, no defenders. And no draft picks coming for the next 5 years to rescue them.

Jordan's playoff record of 63 points is breaking this year. Book it! I didn't realize that was a record. Wilt sure disappeared in the postseason. Michael Jordan (Bulls) 63 April 20, 1986 22-41 0-0 19-21 Lost to Celtics Elgin Baylor (Lakers)* 61 April 14, 1962 22-46 N/A 17-19 Lost to Celtics Donovan Mitchell (Jazz) 57 Aug. 17, 2020 19-33 6-15 13-13 Lost to Nuggets Jimmy Butler (Heat) 56 April 24, 2023 19-28 3-8 15-18 Win vs. Bucks Charles Barkley (Suns) 56 May 4, 1994 23-31 3-4 7-9 Win vs. Warriors Michael Jordan (Bulls) 56 April 29, 1992 20-30 0-0 16-18 Win vs. Heat Wilt Chamberlain (Warriors) 56 March 22, 1962 22-48 N/A 12-22 Win vs. Nationals Damian Lillard (Blazers) 55 June 1, 2021 17-24 12-17 9-10 Lost to Nuggets Allen Iverson (76ers) 55 April 20, 2003 21-32 3-5 10-11 Win vs. Hornets Michael Jordan (Bulls) 55 April 27, 1997 22-35 1-2 10-10 Win vs. Bullets Michael Jordan (Bulls)* 55 June 16, 1993 21-37 0-1 13-18 Win vs. Suns Michael Jordan (Bulls) 55 May 1, 1988 24-45 0-0 7-7 Win vs. Cavs Rick Barry (Warriors)* 55 April 18, 1967 22-48 N/A 11-19 Win vs. 76ers Allen Iverson (76ers) 54 May 9, 2001 21-39 3-5 9-9 Win vs. Raptors Michael Jordan (Bulls) 54 May 31, 1993 18-30 6-9 12-14 Win vs. Knicks John Havlicek (Celtics) 54 April 1, 1973 24-36 N/A 6-6 Win vs. Hawks Nikola Jokic (Nuggets) 53 May 7, 2023 20-30 2-4 11-13 Lost to Suns Isaiah Thomas (Celtics) 53 May 2, 2017 18-33 5-12 12-13 Win vs. Wizards Jerry West (Lakers)* 53 April 23, 1969 21-41 N/A 11-13 Win vs. Celtics Wilt Chamberlain (Warriors) 53 March 14, 1960 24-42 N/A 5-16 Win vs. Nationals * = NBA Finals game I very recently had a conversation with a good friend, born in the early 70's. Having been born in the early 60's, he asked me, excuse me, told me, that Wilt Chamberlain was the greatest NBA player ever. He included a statement by Wilt when talking to Jordan, paraphrased: "They made rules to increase your offense, they made rules to decrease mine". I think this is true. However, and it's a fuzzy childhood memory when I had no real knowledge of the game? As I recall it, in the early 70's, Wilt scared exactly no one in the playoffs. My Dad, huge Knicks fan, would worry about West and Baylor, but inherently understood Willis Reed could take care of Wilt. I have no idea why, but it's true. Go to the NBA record books, and Wilt is all over it, and Reed is no where. A Hall Of Famer, but, jeez, Wilt averaged 50 points a game one year. His personal records are staggering. Transversely, young Kareem, on the Milwaukee Bucks, scared the shit out of everyone come playoffs time. Now, when I told him this, my friend didn't believe it. He asked his Dad, who told him? "Reed (and other big men like Wes Unseld) just beat the shit out of him. Wilt played well, but wasn't very often 'the big factor'". I don't know why this was, but it was, as my young mind saw it. For what it's worth, Bill Russel contained Chamberlain at the peak of his powers, at least enough for his team to dominate him, and everyone else.Wilt had a spectacular career, especially during the regular season. He DID win two titles. He didn't exactly disappear in the playoffs. But apparently, for some reason I don't know?Over the course of his entire career, he didn't seem to elevate his teams when playing other really good teams. Which was known at the time. Brilliant career, but strange.

Knicks can close tonight. However, I'm expecting Philly to show up, and if they win? It's a series again. Game 4 was the most fun I've had watching a basketball game in years. Sure, my team won, but I was completely engrossed for 48 minutes, much of which the Sixers were ahead, looking like they were going to eventually win it.

Knicks were careless during the closing of regulation, but you got to give credit to Maxey. He is much scarier than Embiid in this series.
Despite the loss and the clumsy play in the OT, the Knicks defense has been fun to watch in the series. I don't understand why Thibo do not play Achiuwa more. He's an excellent defender. Game 4, after he entered the game, Embiid got shut down.
I hope the Knicks close down the Sixers in game 6. I don't want a game 7 even if it is at home.

Knicks were too dependent on Brunson near the end. They kept making plays for him and it got predictable. How many times was he blocked in crunch time?

2 minute report is ridiculous. It's just a window into how the refs are graded all game and all season.
Maxey, if you use slo-mo, technically may have traveled on his 4-point shot (3 and 1). You can't even see it, the refs should never call that at any part of any game. Most eurosteps are worse.

Pacers a quarter away from sending Doc and the Bucks fishing. Indy up 15.

Disastrous 2nd quarter. All 5 Knicks starters almost played the whole game so far, except with McBride and Robinson played a bit.
