Thank goodness. Hard fought series. Bring on the Pacers! Incredibly competitive series. Five of the six games were winnable for either team inside the last minute or so of the 4th quarter. Only game three was a definitive win, for Philly. Fun stat? This is how competitive the series was: NY out scored Philly 650 to 649 over six games. |

Leonard does not belong in the group though. He's legit when not injured. My only gripe is he did not stay with the Spurs. I don't remember the reason. Some conflict with Popovich?

No, not without Randle. Back when I first starting posting, I probably said a deep playoff run would be difficult because of Brunson’s size. Holds true now. This team, as situated, can’t ’beat The shit’ out of anyone. However? They have guts, and can ‘hang around’ with anyone. In the offseason, I wouldn’t do anything crazy, if I were Rose. I think this team with Randle? Is a legit championship contender. Make solid draft picks. |
