The Hill Michigan congressman’s brother killed in shootingFilip Timotija Tue, March 19, 2024 Congressman Dan Kildee’s (D-Mich.) brother, Timothy Kildee, was killed in a Tuesday morning shooting, local law enforcement said. Timothy Kildee was shot and killed during a string of crimes that transpired during early morning hours on Tuesday, Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson said during the Tuesday news conference. The suspect in the case is Timothy Kildee’s son. The 27-year-old, who was not identified, sustained serious injuries and is currently recovering at Hurley Medical Center where he is watched by sheriff’s deputies. “Our family is grieving and heartbroken. There are no words to describe the loss of a beloved brother and family member, especially in such a terrible tragedy,” Rep. Kildee said in a Tuesday statement after law enforcement announced the death of his brother. “I thank the community for honoring my family’s privacy during this very difficult time.” The sheriff’s office was called before 3 a.m. on Tuesday due to an incident in Burton. The suspect engaged in a verbal confrontation, according to Swanson. A firearm was presented, Swanson noted. The suspect left the house and reached out to his birth mother. The suspect, who was on foot, was picked up by her sometime between the initial incident and 5 a.m. She took him to a Vienna township home, where his father, Timothy Kildee, resided. The suspect jumped out while the vehicle was moving. The mother “connected” with Timothy Kildee to find their son. The other son, who was in the basement of the house, then heard a confrontation between Timothy Kildee and the suspect. “Give me your wallet and your keys,” the suspect said at one point. The son who was in the basement heard one shot fired during the confrontation. The shot was the one that killed Timothy Kildee, according to Swanson. The suspect stole Timothy Kildee’s pickup truck and crashed it after driving at a high speed. A wallet was found on the suspect belonging to Timothy Kildee. No charges have been filed so far against the suspect. The two people, also driving a pickup, that the suspect hit did not have non-life-threatening injuries.

Why is the 27 yr old son not identified. Not a minor. So the 27 yr old Kildee robbed & murdered his father.

The way it is worded makes it hard to follow sort of like a failure to communicate. But it tops the story I have here in terms of outrageous. www.outdoorlife.com/survival/video-coyote-bites-skier/What did he think was going to happen, trying to pet a coyote named "hotdog".

Austin Powers is how I picture FM, and not in a bad way, either. He's got the wardrobe, the women, and most definitely that MOJO, baby.

Another source still no name so one suspects the cops are not releasing the info.
Which is strange.
But is is a story I have seen. Adult children strong arming their folks for money/support if not outright stealing from them.
Likely drugs.
Likely an addict so can't keep a job so committing various crimes to support the habit.
But hey. Legalize all drugs!

Drugs have not been legal...........and yet you've seen all of this before.
So how would it be any different if it were legalized?

Because we've been through this with the mentally ill? Close the institutions, then whittle away all the public funding for treatment. All those other nations that legalized drugs have national Healthcare to help the addicts. We don't. How did it go in Oregon? Or was it Washington? I don't track other states that hard. Hard enough keeping up with our stuff. LIke why is meat so high?

No shortage of mentally ill...........in fact, it seems to be going up.
And have they really helped the addicts?
Oregon, IIRC..........they acted shocked what happened........but why? It's bound to get a little worse. Then, you let those problem people die off as you should........then things will improve. They're panicking too soon........but that's elections for you. Look at Joe talking about the border now.
All those new and expensive rules and regulations ramped prices up higher? No kidding. It's almost as if nobody warned you about that.

Think you don't eat our pork? Or our prices don't affect you? I remember a drought in Texas in the 00s? Maybe last decade? Lots of family farms sold out to corporate farms because their herds were dying & the warning was it would drive up the price of beef. Which it did. I know before that buying a $5 5 lb chub of ground beef was common while now? Last time you paid $1/lb for ground beef?
