See what you do, is you try your hardest to not die in a video game. Or get hit.
Or if it's a sports game, try your hardest to win. And not let the opponent score a point.
So... do that, and if you get a game over screen because all your lives are dead... then you just won!
Why? Because dying in video games actually means that you win... You win playing that game again.
For example, if it's a racing game... the object of that game is to try your hardest to win the whole race. But, if you end up losing anyway. You just won that game.
Yea, dying in a video is sweet!
You don't believe me? Try playing pac-man that way. Then you'll never get frustrated.

In games like Dark Souls or Hades dying a lot is part of the experience.

One another example. A great example too: Ok try playing the great old game F Zero. But, try to beat it on master mode with all of the cars. Why all? Because as you know beating with the red car is easy as cake! But the other cars, whole other story on that. In order to do that you must learn how each car drives... grasshopper. Once you become a dennis grasshopper and learn how to do so... only then can you beat the game on master mode with all cars! But, when you lose a lot or races you win... you win playing the game again.
Can I accomplish this task though? No not yet.
But I am having fun losing races though fairly frequently. Each time I get lose a race, I win playing the game again.
