That's a good one but I'll raise the bid on what is a "you can't escape your destiny moment" though it's more macabre. Back in april of 2001, on a foggy night, a man flying his Cessna 150 hit a transmission tower in Mont-Carmel, Quebec. Despite the fog, it was already unlucky to hit the transmission tower since it was the only high structure for miles around but the plane didn't just hit the tower and crashed nearby. Not only did the plane hit the tower right in the middle of the structure but to the point where it got stuck up there. What are the chances of that? It remained there for a few days before they brought down the tower to get the body.
