Your politicians want them! They keep the home office occupied. They give shady creatures opportunities to milk money from the tax payer (prison barges, hotels, Rwanda deals,...). They undermine wages on the black market for jobs. And the official 'legal' migrants (is there a migrant watch for them, too?) undermine wages on the legal market for jobs.
