Let’s say everyone gets two parking bays in an apartment complex. One new group of renters parks three in a row, using two of their bays and part of the driveway behind them. They aren’t obscuring anyone’s access to their own bays, but it is a concern because it isn’t allowed and if others see it, might think they can do it and next thing you know there is congestion. So is it wrong of someone to tell them they shouldn’t do that?

There’s the strata company, and I know they’ll side with the one complaining as it has happened before with other tenants and they got a warning last time. But should it be reported? The complainant has to live alongside them.

The owner of the third car should use the overflow parking or park on the street.
