I can see your point, but the problem is that you want to see the cotton tops working, which is not the same as actually getting anything done. For example, towards the end I had a full time job, but I knew all the corners to cut and I was usually done by mid day. And I was getting promotion markings. Meanwhile the youngsters were running around in an flurry of well meaning inefficiency.
Bear in mind that being at work means that the manager either does not trust you to work without supervision or that he is trying to justify his or her own existence. Or both
So Power Ranger, what are your plans to earn telephone numbers without getting out of bed ?
