Just watched it, lol. It was shit but it was fun. I enjoyed it. Tittilating feminist something-or-other. Presents itself as a well funded arthouse film, but I should hardly like to dignify it with that description. I want to know what the knife thinks.

I saw the director's last film The Favourite. I did like it but wasn't crazy about it.

I’m surprised this is the first thread about this movie. I think it’s a great movie. Own it on Blu-ray and watched it 3 times.

It is really damn good and may be the best of last year. I've been watching some of the director's earlier works too and now I'm wondering why I've slept on this guy, but I do think Poor Things is his best.

I loved it. Visually it's stunning and Emma Stone is fantastic in the lead role. Mark Ruffalo was a ton of fun too and I found the film to be incredibly entertaining the whole way through, with lots of great lines and funny moments.

Hope to see it soon. Generally like Lanthimos. Would rank what I've seen:
8 The Killing of a Sacred Deer
7 The Lobster Dogtooth The Favourite
6 Alps

"Is that smell you?"
I liked it a lot. Beautiful set designs, great acting, and a completely bonkers plot. It's nice to see a fairly mainstream movie that is this wild and also get award recognition. Yorgos is becoming one of my favorite directors because he always comes up with something interesting. I've seen Poor Things, Dogtooth and Killing of a Sacred Deer. I still have The Lobster rental waiting for me to watch on Prime Video.
