It's like a whole new world! A happy world, at that! Babyβs so excited but then takes the glasses off. Why do you think she does that? She might have felt overwhelmed. I'm slightly short sighted and didn't get glasses until I was 22 but I still remember how strangely sharp the world looked.

Thatβs my guess as well since she doesnβt pick them back up to compare and contrast. Sheβs so happy but the unfamiliar can be intimidating.

On the other hand, if Claude Monet had been given corrective lenses at that age, he quite likely wouldn't have grown up to become Claude Monet. Handicaps aren't always without their upside. Just sayin'.

Just sayin'. When I shared a house with Australians one of them had very bad eyesight and when I put on her glasses it was like Iβd just dropped acid.

When someone would put on my glasses, they'd swear it was instant migraine .
