Penrith (Favourites) $3.30 Brisbane $5 Melbourne $7 Roosters $11 Warriors Cowboys $13 Manly $15 Cronulla $21 Newcastle $29 Dolphins, Souths, Parramatta $34 Canberra, Bulldogs $41 St George, Tigers (bosom buddies as always) $101 Gold Coast $301
Seems fair. Penrith and Brisbane have both been a little up and down but you'd expect them to come good and it's not like anyone's running away. You'd think that the undefeated Dolphins and Canberra would be attracting more money though I can't say $34 and $41 respectively are hardly outrageous.
Melbourne started off the longest they have for years and have shortened considerably after starting 4-1.

It’s about right, Canberra won’t win the comp, but $41 is laughable. Should be half that. Maybe close to a quarter. Dolphins are in a bit of false economy - they’ve gone Cowboys (Loss H), Dragons (Win H), Bye, Titans (Win A), Tigers (Win H). 3-1 is good, but they haven’t left QLD and beaten the 3 favourites for the spoon.
Again, ‘gun to head have to put a pineapple on someone’ it’s still Penrith whilst they are paying more than even money.
The only price that looks any sort of value is Cronulla at $21, maybe. Cowboys at $13 is ridiculously short (they aren’t beating Penrith or Melbourne in a SF, let alone a GF) and the same goes for the Warriors but they have a better chance than the Cows.

Roosters at $11 is tempting for mine. I know they've had a couple of bad losses, but they should be right in the thick of it and I'd want to have a flutter now while they're paying over $10.

Yeah, I’m not touching the chooks. I’d rather back the Warriors at about the same quote, even Manly.
