According to my IMDb ratings, I rated 222 movies from 2005. My highest rating was given to The New World, which I rated 10/10, and the lowest was a tie between Cursed and Alone in the Dark, both of which I rated 1/10.

My household didn’t get cable and premium movie channels until the mid-1980s so for several years after I watched absolutely EVERYTHING! I gorged myself on movies. It didn’t matter what kind of egregious shit was on, I sat through it. That’s why, during one of the worst decades for movies, I come up with figures like 159 for 1988 and 131 for 1987. These days, I’m disappointed in myself for those years.
More reasonably and enjoyably:
1950 – 73
1948 – 72
1960 – 71
1945 – 68
1940 & ’42 – 67 each
That is what I am most comfortable with.
