The Palestine Football Association has asked FIFA to ban the Israel soccer team, as they have banned Russia and previously banned Yugoslava for the Balkan conflict and South Africa for appartheid.
Israel is using a Gaza stadium for detaining Gazans. At least 99 Palestinian footballers have been killed by Israel. Ten thousand vchildren have been killed by Israel. All Gazan football grounds have been destroyed.
Before Israel moved from the AFC to UEFA Israel regularly banned Palestinian footballers from leaving the west bank and Gaza for football games.

Israel is becoming a world pariah. You can see the direction things are moving in, the left's leadership is devoted to Israel but the base isn't and the Biden administration has to make minor concessions but i think in the future they'll make real meaningful policy to help Palestine. The right is further behind but getting there. People like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are pushing the needle. The only real solid friend Israel has is older white people and the religious right, a demographic in decline. |

Maccabi Tel Aviv is one of my favourite sports club both in football and basketball.
I hate the fact that they banned CSKA moscow from competing in both Euroleague basketball and football.
Euroleague is not as good without CSKA.
Politics should be kept aside when making decisions about sports. Hope they let CSKA soon and hope Israel stays in all sports.
