Most interest is in whether the English clubs, Liverpool and West Ham, can mount comebacks in their ties v Atalanta and Leverkusen respectively.
Roma, already up 1-0 on the first leg have scored early in Milan. Marseilles, 2-1 down to Benfica on the 1st leg, are pressing hard and looking like scoring any moment.
Lille v Aston Villa is going to penalties.

On other action earlier Fiorentina went through with a 2-0 win over Viktoria Plzen.
Brugge lead Paok 2-0 on aggregate while Fenerbache lead Olympiakos 1-0 at home evening up the aggregate at 3-3

During that shoot out Roma scored again. They're looking very safe 3-0 up in the tie.

West Ham goaled early to give themselves a chance. Halftime in Atalanta with the home team 3-1 up in the tie. With Roma and Brugge comfortably leading, my eyes will be on Marseille, London, and Istanbul...unless Liverpool score another.

I am liking the fact that Sporting Lisbon are on way to win the league this year and will prevail over Benfica and Porto. Hopefully next year too.

Marseille tie it up! If you look up "inevitable" in the dictionary right under a picture of Thanos there'd be a video link to this goal. After pressing all night it's a well timed direct cross from the left wing headed in by the sub Moumbagma. Marseille erupts. 2-2

Frimpong makes and absolute mayor of what would have been a tie sealer for Leverkusen. In the open field, no defenders in front of him and a wide open team mate to his left, he went himself and booted into the 15th row. 6 minutes remaining. West Ham still need 1 goal to level.

Milan with a late one but that's firmly in the domain of consolation. Roma still up 3-1 and they'll go through.

Leverkusen put West Ham down with a late equaliser. Frimpong's shot deflected past the keeper. Game over. 3-1 ahead, their unbeaten record intact, mission accomplished in London for the German champions. Credit to them for attacking in the second half after West Ham had dominated the first stanza.
Full time in Italy. Liverpool only getting 1 goal back. Atalanta 3-1 on aggregate.
Time mercifully blown in Rome. Roma through 3-1 on aggregate to play Leverkusen.
