Last night I downloaded Young Sheldon, Leave it to Todd and Ghosts (the American version) and now I have nothing new to watch.
Indy Neidell has some great stuff in his World War II videos, but although he is putting up a great show, I am not sure how much longer Adolf can last. And there is not much on the 14th Army, largely because Burma was a bit of a side show, but also because of Slim's quiet competence. Uncle Bill was not very spectacular, he just got on with things, which won wars but did not make for spectacular TV
Maybe there will be some spin offs. I can't say that I am looking forward to Indy's series on the Korean War, but maybe Chuck Lorre can manage a new show wrapped around Georgie and Mandy and Missy and Mary and Meemaw and Co ?

Nothing to watch? There is plenty to watch on youtube. Old films and tv shows. I was just watching Death Race 2000 (1975) and some old Three Stooges shows today.

Try Mammoth on BBC iplayer. Just 3 30 minute episodes. Accidentally frozen in 1979, Tony Mammoth gets a second chance at life – though he reckons he absolutely nailed it first time round. Starring Mike Bubbins and Sian Gibson. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/m001y669/mammothMade me laugh anyway.

"These days it is 5 minutes Roger because that is how long it takes to have a piss."
He might have mentioned that by the time he finishes it is time to start again, but still, it looks like a good show

I have so much unwatched stuff I very doubt I'll get around to watching most of it before I pop my clogs.

I have so much unwatched stuff I very doubt I'll get around to watching most of it before I pop my clogs. I tend to binge watch, which is not difficult. I only watch cheerful rubbish and got through the 159 episodes of Two and a Half Men in 6 weeks. It was not difficult in the early days when Chuck Lorre was pumping out a new show every other week, but he is creaking on a bit and his output has slowed

Just finished watching Till (2022) and decided to cheer myself up with Argyle. After that I’ll probably watch a couple of art documentaries before watching an old film or a new series like Fallout.

It’s not too bad as these type of things go. Got a cheap sub to Mubi for a couple of months. Watching Alice in the Cities just now. Good film.

I’m such a soppy bugger I even got emotional towards the end of Argyle. And I misspelled the title. It’s Argylle.

After that I’ll probably watch a couple of art documentaries (...) Recommendations: As I knew and loved the first one by heart I recommended the 2nd one (by the same director) for a screening in 2019 in a little chapel in a park in our home town as a part of a bigger urban gardening project called "Das grYne Band" (wrong spelling intentional). Just imagine that moment at 00:57! It was indeed magical as of all the culture clubs taking part in that one year project our contribution had been the most perfectly fitting! Carl LaFongAnd from Wim Wenders ("Alice in the Cities") this quite new one

notoriousnobbi, I’m doing the tagging thing because copying the same videos again and again bloats out the thread. Most of the art videos I watch are taken from the Perspective channel on YouTube (because I’m cheap) but I’ll look out for those.
