I mean what with me being on his (and her) side and all.

That sounds healthy, but how do you know you are not being sinful in deed and mind? It is important because, you will need answer some questions, such as, do you treat everyone you know and meet, no matter their state of sinfulness, as if they are Jesus himself? Do you trust yourself to blindly get that right? I personally do not think there is any judgement from the “supernatural.” As above, so below. There is only a single “I am.” We are all it. I know I am being sinful in deed and mind because I'm human and all humans sin whether they believe in it or not. I'm simply not going to judge myself is all. Even when you know you are in the middle of sinning, you don’t think you will be damned for it? If you’re not going to judge yourself, how can you improve yourself in this life in preparation for next.

A possible mistake I often see is assuming that because God has forgiven a person then everyone on Earth must forgive that person too. I am probably not reading you correctly, but it does seem you have no regard for the people on Earth who were perhaps offended. Are they entitled to recompense or not?

I am probably not reading you correctly, but it does seem you have no regard for the people on Earth who were perhaps offended. Are they entitled to recompense or not? That is problematic for me, too. If I murder someone who has a large, loving family, I can ask God's forgiveness, but those family members want to see me get the death penalty, but I say that God has forgiven me... how is that fair? Some murderers are never caught and brought to justice in the here and now. IF there is life after death, and the family goes to Heaven and the murderer is there because God forgave him... how does that work? It's these little pesky details that made me doubt any kind of certainty of religion. And God doesn't appear to send out press releases of who he has forgiven and who he has not. These little inconsistencies and other concepts seem to create more problems than they resolve. In the words of Forrest Gump's mama, sometimes people do things that, well, just don't make no sense. In relation to the Klu Klux Klan.

I'm not talking about others but rather myself as I'm not in the judgement industry. You're talking about courts of law and the legal system which is fine by me as far as passing judgement is concerned.

Anyone remember Mother Angelica?
Always seemed like she was on TV when I came home drunk.

Anyone remember Mother Angelica? Always seemed like she was on TV when I came home drunk. I couldn't last more than 5 seconds, watching this. But I did hear her say that we are all sinners...

In the unlikely event that Hell exists, I will be EXTREMELY pissed off if that is where I end up just for not believing in God and for a bit of fornication and in spite of having been generally a good person who never intentionally harmed anyone. According to the faith, just one unrepentant sin lands one in the same fire as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Jeffery Epstein and OJ. All the more reason I know it's all just crowd control.

Bless your heart then, you are the only human being alive who doesn’t judge people. Have you ever had jury duty?
