How’s it hypocritical? UT warned them that they will not allow disruptions to campus life and they ignored it. UT is also a very liberal institution. That’s to protect themselves from lawsuits. I’m think they should sue if they were arrested for no reason, ie they didn’t assault cops or any other students. as for “university quiet time,” that should be met with university discipline, not jail. Well, as Jack would say, they were warned.

Did that apply to protests that disrupt campus life or just allowing conservative students to speak without being attacked by a rabid mob? It is just protesting. Looking at the posted videos, it seems they are just overreacting because they don’t like what they are protesting. Some juicy lawsuits may come out of this.

I think the warning though might cover the school’s ass. I’m going to be in Madison for a graduation and that city is more liberal than Chicago. It will be interesting to see what’s going on then. It’s a great city, maybe the best in the Midwest with fairly low crime as well. Just a city of friendly aging hippies and college kids on a lake.

Every time that happens, people get hurt.

Thank you for the thread mr self, it is heartwarming to know these anti-Semitic, Hamas enabling little assholes will be dealt with appropriately if they fuck around in Texas. Texas must serve as an example to the rest of America.

You humiliate them, but don't hurt them and it takes weeks, even months to remove the die stains so if they came back and try and protest again they're easy to identify.

You can protest against a vaccine that ended a pandemic.
But you can't protest the murder of 30,000 people.
Why can't libs understand that?
