You can protest against a vaccine that ended a pandemic.
But you can't protest the murder of 30,000 people.
Why can't libs understand that?
From what I have read, the Pro-Pal protestors were denied a permit and they decided to start pitching tents on the UT Quad anyway. That explains the immediate breakup of said protest. UT students are saying no protest on campus has ever required a permit before. If that is true, they may very well win a hefty suit against the university. So it goes.

That’s to protect themselves from lawsuits. I’m think they should sue if they were arrested for no reason, ie they didn’t assault cops or any other students. as for “university quiet time,” that should be met with university discipline, not jail. You can't protest on private property, so if they get arrested they don't have a leg to stand on. I’m not sure of this, but I think state universities are public property. I attended one, and we had plenty of protests. Even sit-ins. Just don’t ask me what we were protesting, it’s been a zillion years.

The protesting is not the issue, it is the attempt to setup a tent city. There is no right to setting up tent cities on public grounds. Good to see you.

It's amazing how protests can be stopped if those in power actually want them stopped.
I will never forget Chaz in Seattle. Protesters (rioters) took over 6 blocks and burned down a police station. The authorities supposedly couldn't do a thing about it for over a week. Then the rioters marched to the mayor's house, as if by magic the next morning city police took control and stopped "CHAZ" without much trouble.

I was referring to the cops coming in. Every time that happens, people get hurt. The cops should use water cannons and dye on the asshole protestors. You humiliate them, but don't hurt them and it takes weeks, even months to remove the die stains so if they came back and try and protest again they're easy to identify. Again, Jeff. Tread carefully.

Trump should hold a rally there.
Let’s see how quick Abbott is to send in the jackboots.

What made that whole thing possible was the lack of police in general due to them being at home.
Same for the riots.
Half the police force were sitting at home that entire time.

For over a week? I think it was because politicians told them to stand down. They were in control the whole time.

It is sickening to see these asshole students openly supporting terrorism. Because supporting terrorists is what these ignorant little cunts are doing on university campuses. It is revolting, and the squatter camps springing up at the university should be shut down immediately. The ant-Semitism must also be shut down immediately. Hamas and Putin must be rubbing their hands in glee.
