And Sen Ricketts (R, Nebraska) is kind enough to tell us why: too much criticism of Israel! Yeah supposedly we're soooo concerned that a foreign government (China) is influencing our young people we just gotta do something, but the actual reason for this is another foreign government, one with apparently an even more powerful lobby, Israel. The bill that gave 60 billion to Ukraine, 26 billion to Israel, a few more billion to other nations also did this. This was all rolled into one awful bill. |

Some might, but they banned it in India and people just went to Instagram reels or stories (or whatever) and YouTube shorts, which were rolled out around that time.... If the Feds really care about data collection they should ban the harvesting and sale of all user data from both American and Chinese companies.
