Yeah... no. At worst he was an unintended casualty, and most likely was a terrorist and a traitor. Okay, so by that logic police can blow up buildings full of people if someone they're looking for is in them. It's funny how all the rules go out the window when the powerful aren't getting what they want.

Normal criminals are not military targets, and the military is generally forbidden from law enforcement.

I see your point. If it is at a private residence with only the usual people there I would say it is legit. If he is in the stands at the World Cup final, maybe wait for a better opportunity? But then again, the only losses would be soccer fans... Isn't that how Harry Skywalker bought it? Doubtful.

Who left the US and was in company with a legitimate military target. A minor. So? Do we call off military operations in areas where a minor might be present?

If the entire building is full of enemy combatants who are not only planning the murder of Americans but have already participated in actions costing American lives, and it's on foreign soil...then sure. Again, why do you love terrorists so much?

So? Do we call off military operations in areas where a minor might be present? This was a drone strike against a specific individual deemed "terrorist" by our government, a citizen who should've had rights. This wasn't a life or death struggle between nations. The whole episode is everything I've grown to detest from our ruling class.

That's not how this country should work.

Because that's who owned the compound the kid was in when he was killed, and that's where a senior Al Queda leader, who was the target of the strike, was located. So tell us. If Al Queda isn't a terrorist organization, what is? Or do you believe terrorists aren't real, like faeries and Santa Claus?

So Al Queda isn't a terrorist organization. Which means your argument is even more ridiculous, since you've just declared the compound a valid military target in a war on the United States declared by Al Queda, and the kid at best unfortunate collateral damage (perfectly legal when attacking military targets) and at worst an enemy combatant (perfectly legal during a state of war). You want to stick with that argument?
