I don't get what these protestors are hoping to accomplish camping out on college lawns. This is like roided-out virtue signaling. Columbia University can't do anything about Gaza, and neither can UT. This is just dumb. Fuckibg join a humanitarian aid mission to the region if you actually want to accomplish something that is going to help Palestinians. Making a nuisance of yourself and passive-aggresive threats towards Jews isn't going to impact what you think it will. I think they want Columbus to divest from the US military and never deal with Israel ever. Something like that.

Well, you never know when you might find yourself in a Donner Party type situation. From what little I know of the Donner party, they did eat their dead out of desperation, but they died of natural causes (from starvation and diseases due a combination of bad luck, hardship and a fatal mistake.
They didn't kill them.

I think they murdered and ate two Native American guides that were close to death from starvation themselves.

My bad.

You are probably right; I was going from memory.

Murder is only killing without a license. I guess that is why this guy suggests we get one.

Murder is only killing without a license. Do you expect licenses to kill a Jew becoming a thing?

They've demonstrated they're not too keen on helping Gazans or accepting of those who would and I think the murder of the WCK workers highlighted this, despite being far from the only example. Protests are generally nuisances and that's the point. They're supposed to be annoying. It was annoying when black people did sit-ins at white only diners to protest segregation. It was annoying when the Vietnam protesters made a ruckus to protest the war. It was annoying when the protesters of South African apartheid formed solidarity camps to oppose Western-supported apartheid. It's supposed to demonstrate that people are pissed off and want a change of direction. Will there be assholes? Of course. There were assholes during the Civil Rights movements who shouted "Kill whitey" or took actions which would make the status quo pop their monocles. The bottom line is if what they're protesting for is morally correct. In this case, it is.

Or going to comedy shows, lectures, or simply following celebs around and just screaming at them (because they are Jewish or have expressed support for Israel).
They need to be agree with. Work, school, friends, whoever. They need everyone around them to approve of their beliefs and ideas. And if you don't cave? they'll (attempt) to ruin you. They are a bratty and entitled generation (to the point of mental illness)

I saw one of them on the news last night say they want their school to "open up their books", LOL.

The difference between this protest and the protests you mentioned is the others were protesting things either happening in our country or we were directly involved with, although I admit to not knowing much about the SA protests you mentioned. Making a nuisance of yourself by setting up tents at an Ivy league school isn't going to Impact Israel's direction much. And now this dumbfuck is passive-aggresively threatening Jews on social media. American Jews are not responsible for what is happening in Gaza. This guy is basically saying his side-show poses a threat to Jewish students at Columbia University, and that should in no way be tolerated. I'm really sorry Palestinans are governed by terrorists. I'm sorry that said terrorists committed an act of terrorism in October that would have equated to 9/11 having killed over 130,000 PLUS people instead of 3000 . I'm sorry not a single neighboring Muslim country, on the border or elsewhere, will take in Palestinian refugees. I'm sorry innocent Palestinians are dying because of all of that. I truly am. But NONE of it means American punks can set up shop on college campuses and intimidate American Jews or worse. AFAIC Columbia U has been given every reason to shut this shit down as soon as clown boy here opened his mouth on social media saying he "hopes" he doesn't kill any Jews.

Um, we are directly involved with what's going on in Israel. We are their largest benefactors and their largest ally. I'm sorry that you're not well informed on this matter.
