Well, we all wanted to cry at my house today.
An old friend from the US has Alzheimer's and we hadn’t spoken to her in a few years.
She’s not the same person.
We didn’t know what to say on the phone. She used to be very talkative and cheery, but not now.
It really takes a lot away from people. We hope we didn’t upset her family.

That’s really rough. I’m sorry, Sci.

My best friend's mother died of alzheimer's. It was tragic what he told me.

That's what the Biden administration have been doing the past 4 years.

An old friend from the US has Alzheimer's Oh smack! She didn't try bilking billions of dollars through her defense contractor contacts, did she? I've heard those types are very criminally genius that way! We hope we didn’t upset her family. I'm sure if you kept the "potato" jokes to a minimum, they'll be more than understanding.

At the hospital where my wife works, there was an elderly gentleman who used to come up every afternoon. He would put his wife in a cardiac chair and walk hr up and down the halls, talking to her, telling her about his day. She was in a completely vegetative state, due to Alzheimer's. She just stared off into space. He might as well have pushed a rock around. It was very sad

That is sad. It's terrible that it can go on for so long. I read of someone having had it for 12 years.

That is sad. It's terrible that it can go on for so long. I read of someone having had it for 12 years. Joanne Woodward was diagnosed with it in 2007 when she was 77 or so. She’s still alive now at 94 years old. It’s possible to live with it for 20 years. It would be rough on the family, I would think.

My guy's mother had Alzheimer’s for about 5 or 6 years. She didn’t know her own family members.

My grandmother died from dementia and eventually she didn’t know who I was anymore. Alzheimer’s is even worse. I’m sorry, that must be hard to witness.
