The original cartoon is a favorite of mine. A live action remake could be interesting for the depiction of Mount Olympus, but otherwise I don’t see the appeal.

I haven’t seen the animated movie. Being a Disney production, presumably it’s not very faithful to the story from Greek mythology? Maybe a new film version should follow THAT instead of a cartoon.
