I took one french class in high school (forgot most of it). I know some spanish (pretty much everyone that lives in Southern California does). I'll never become fluid, but I have taken some interest in learning some Japanese.

Afrikaans. I used to speak a bit of Xhosa, but most black people I know now speak English all the time. I like speaking Afrikaans when I get the chance. I'm a bit rusty at first, but once I get into my stride it all comes back to me.

At least one person here is fluent in three languages.
Harry also knows a bunch of languages. I’d like to know which ones besides Portuguese, English and French, I think.

Just bits of Russian, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Latin, Classic Greek, and Anglo-Saxon. Not really conversant.

English is my second language. Swedish is my first. Then I know German fairly, but far from fluent. And a little bit of Finnish.

Which isn’t as frowned up in polite American society as Spanish.

English is my second language.
My first is (naturally) Norwegian. From that I also understand Swedish and Danish, without speaking it, though the Danish can't often understand me. I did take German as my third in high school, but I've forgotten all but a few phrases. I also know a bit of old Norse.

Danish actually is closer to Swedish, as the two fall into East Scandinavian, while Norwegian is West Scandinavian like Icelandic. Yet I understand spoken Norwegian better.

I can speak and understand Russian but I'm at a loss writing it. I learned from my Granny and my Great Aunts. But i could never get around that damned Cyrillic alphabet. I could probably figure out a sign in downtown Vladivostok but it would take a while.
My wife speaks fluent French and I learned a lot, mostly so I could understand what she was saying when she got mad
And i know a decent amount of Polish
