The planet isn't going anywhere. We are! - George Carlin One good thing about technology - it has preserved the legacy of George Carlin. I wonder what he would be saying about the conditions of the present? Sometime back someone posted an AI video of George Carlin doing a routine about today’s events. It was pretty good….

He said, because they are brainless idiots, lady.
I've heard domestic turkey have to be raised indoors.........otherwise when it rains, they'll look up and drown.
And who wants a waterlogged turkey for Thanksgiving?

you're noting the different stance of Christ? and the various Churches?
The advice there is sound.........sexual activity can be problematic in a wide variety of ways.......so IF you can do without, then your life will likely be less complicated.
Why do people feel like arguing against such obvious and sound advice?
Being a part of a stable marriage is the best place to bring kids into the world.
The more our so called 'society' drifts away from much of that age olde advice, the more chaotic it seems to get.

It was one of U2's last good songs. And a decent movie. A decent movie with a gorgeous soundtrack

A decent movie with a gorgeous soundtrack It has been decades since I have seen it, but I think there was some Peter Gabriel in the soundtrack. In the movie it was Gabriel's 'Blood of Eden'. Sadly it is not on the Soundtrack album - but even without it - that album is absolutely marvelous and - despite having so many different artists on it - one of those rare albums you start hearing at the beginning and stop hearing at the end without skipping anything.
