You send Trump to jail before the election and you'll really see riots.

If it would learn him not to run his butthole mouth I’d be all farrr it. But it wouldn’t. He’d just capitalize on it and raise millions above and beyond because of it. 🤦♀️

I really don't think he will be able to help himself and will end up in jail for it. I think Trump wants to stay out of jail regardless of his big talk about it. I don't think he'll push the judge to that point.

Merchan should tell Trump that if he violates his gag orders again, he’s going to defer any jail time to after the verdict is read.
It’s obvious that fines aren’t going to work on him, as he can easily get his base to pay for them. Tell Trump that for every violation from this point forward is a week of jail.
And can we all agree that the gag order is only for Trump “talking about” potential witnesses, families of the court players, the jury and those who work for the court? Trump still can talk all he wants about Bragg, Merchan, this case, his defense, etc…?
If he had just kept his mouth shut regarding the ones I mentioned above (he’s always in hot water because just like a toddler/small child, he thrives on testing boundaries) whom, there wouldn’t be a gag order to begin with. And him constantly lying about that gag order is reprehensible. But I guess it does its part in getting his base and others falling for his scam riled up, so kudos?

You send Trump to jail before the election and you'll really see riots. So, you're saying his supporters are radical enough to riot if he goes to jail for 24 hours for violating his gag order an 11th time?

Merchan should tell Trump that if he violates his gag orders again, he’s going to defer any jail time to after the verdict is read. That could only work with those capable of thinking beyond the moment.

That could only work with those capable of thinking beyond the moment. Doesn’t matter. I think putting the fear in Trump is the only punishment that could work on him. If Trump was treated like any other defendant, which he thus far has NOT (he gets special treatment and waaaaaaaay more latitude than us peons), he’d already have been imprisoned once found in violation. He’s now a convicted criminal, and just about every other peon defendant stands trial while in jail, whether it be in person or via video link from the jailhouse.

And I think the judge's recent warning of possible jail, undeferred, accomplishes that. I don't think Trump is going to take the chance.

No other defendant would have been charged with non-crimes in order to interfere with the 2024 election, and then unconstitutionally gagged from publicly defending themselves against obvious corruption and conflicts of interest, especially regarding the judge's daughter who has fundraised off this bogus case.

Is there any attorney who does not bow down before the revealed glory of Donald J. Trump, who will keep their law license? Last I checked, it's Trump's former lawyers that lose their law licenses and go to jail. Everything Trump touches dies. Not true. The bedbugs at Mar-a-Lago survived DJT's presence.

Your attempt to argue the unconstitutionality of post-conduct gag orders failed miserably, Jack.

Incarceration for no crime. This is just another case where charges should never have been brought. That judge and the prosecutor is gonna find themselves on the receiving end of an illegal detainment lawsuit.
