So Hamas wants a cease fire now that Israel has them cornered in Rafah? So in a year they can commit another 10/7? Any cease fire should come with Hamas returning hostages and turning themselves in. Sounds like this is just a delay tactic by Hamas. Israel rejected this deal earlier. Since none of the Arab countries will step-up and do it, I think the US should take in Palestinian refugees so Israel can get rid of Hamas once and for all. Once you remove their human shields they can't manipulate situations to their advantage anymore.

And it doesn't have to be permanent. I assume most of them would prefer to return home when it's all over.

Let Saudi Fucking Arabia take the Muslim ones.

You know already Trudeau won't go along with that.

Because there would be thousands of Hamas hiding amongst the refugees to either escape Israel or bring the war to the US. Also, the vast majority of the actual refugees would never leave so we would be stuck with 2 million people to take care of with the bonus of having them hate America.
