Increasingly, the squad members are seeing dwindling chances at reelection because of how much hate they espouse for America. Jamaal Bowman - the man who pulled an actual fire alarm in Congress - is not expected to win reelection. Bowman was just fundraising alongside CAIR cofounder Nihad Awad who praised October 7. nypost.com/2024/05/04/us-news/jamaal-bowman-hosted-fundraiser-with-muslim-extremist/And AOC is being primaried by a moderate Dem. Are The Squad taking over the Democratic Party as they would have you believe? Or are they getting voted out?

They're popular in their districts....but are exposing an increasing divide in their party. With the GOP internal strife, its the outgoing neocons being replaced by the Nationalist philosophy that's far more appealing. But with the Democratic rift, its a battle between bad and worse. The Israel/Hamas lines are exposing just one avenue that the groups within the Democratic party are truly at odds with one another and separately do not like each other.
* Sort of reminds me of a Star Trek premise. On DS9 during the Dominion War... the Cardassians had increasing conflict with the Jem Hadar. In public, they tried to maintain the appearance of comradery. But underneath, there was growing tension and even despising of the other. They remained "allies" until their perceived mutual enemy was destroyed, but they both planned on eliminating the other once that threat was gone. It was only a matter of when and how.

AOC has seen a real hit to her popularity in her Bronx/Queens hybrid district because of incidents like this which shed light on her problematic immigration attitudes and even more significantly because of the rise in crime in the Bronx and Queens while AOC is essentially pro-criminal rights.

Both AOC and Jamaal Bowman are facing primary challengers on June 25. Dem Marty Dolan (seen in two videos above) is running against AOC. Dem George Latimer is running against Jamaal Bowman. www.axios.com/2023/12/04/rep-jamaal-bowman-gets-democratic-primary-challengerSpread the word!!

Is the squad a "thing" in 2024?

Is the squad a "thing" in 2024? What? I don’t understand. Did you miss, the other day, when President Biden said that he “learned a long time ago: listen to that lady” after AOC had just finished falsely characterizing the Colombia protesters as peaceful? It’s too bad for him and his poll numbers he gave The Squad such influence.

Fetzer Zinfandel ♀︎, even the Axios article I linked in my post above your reply refers to them as the Squad.

The only people I've ever seen that genuinely seem to like AOC are internet virgins.

We'll see. I recall cons and "independents" confidently predicting they would all lose in the last confessional elections, and yet they won.

Hard to say. Summer Lee dominated her primary despite some big money coming in against her.
I do know AIPAC has put up $100 million to primary against them. No doubt other big donors will join in to ensure we have a Congress full of complicit wads of dry oatmeal. And as they say, money talks.
It just remains to be seen if people are aware of how the government is being manipulated and how activated they are in opposition to it.

And even the lie that was outed as hate rhetoric only fabricated $20 million offered. Ergo you are 5x as dangerous as universally recognized Hate Propagandists. Give yourself a hand.

I knew AOC and Bowman would win their last elections because I don’t live far away and they were exceedingly popular a few years ago.

That AIPAC is a major donor to candidates? That's not even disputable. Do you mean the amount? I got it from this article long ago: www.politico.com/news/2024/03/03/aipac-israel-spending-democratic-primaries-00144552Has there been an update? Has AIPAC come out and said they're not spending that?
