I don't really call that a backlash, just common sense. I don't want to be alone with female co-workers either, I avoid it when possible.

We also had these problems in the military. Generally, the accused was guilty until proven innocent, and still had a black cloud over their careers for the rest of their tenure.

Whats really shocking is the amount of trust that the media the population, and companies out there( especially Netflix) are willing to believe the "victim" despite a single SHRED of evidence to back anything up what i was saying for example: Kevin Spacey was automatically fired from House of Cards in under 48 hours because of 1 b actor story 30 years ago when there were no witnesses at all. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty.?I would understand if they had proof( video,pics/semen) Keep in mind this is before the other stories cam out. BEFORE- not after. |

As to the whole "innocent until proven guilty" that kind of went away the moment people started using the internet and social media to bypass due process of law. Resulting in what you might term a "Witch Hunt" because corporations and other organizations are more concerned with the impact of such social media accusations than they are with upholding the due process of law through law enforcement. So we have a lot of individuals and even corporations and other organizations taking the law into their own hands, which is a very nasty trend that can only get worse. Sort of like a snowball rolling down a mountain side until it gets huge enough to demolish a factory or even a small village in an avalanche. |
