Sounds like something off the old Harry Smith folk music anthology. Got that somewhere, must give it a listen again.

The finest of power pop. First heard that on the classic Vertigo "New Wave" album back in '77. Turned a lot of us onto some new bands like Little Bob Story and The Dead Boys. That and the "Streets" compilation and the Industrial Records story were indispensable. The Max's and CBGB ones were also great if a bit spotty.
