Was lucky enough to see Rory live in the late 70's, a true genius. Saw Eric Clapton a few years later and was so bored that I walked out. Rory felt the blues, Eric saw it as a technical exercise. |

Fear of flying and booze did for him in the end and later shows can be messy, but 70s stuff and earlier when he was in the band "Taste" are well worth seeking out. |

Was 25 years ago today that Rory passed. A more than good enough reason for a bit more of the man and his real kick arse band.. |
