I said before that if there's any new music I'd like... it'd be music from asia.
Specifically their albums from 2008 through 2012. But now after hearing them a few more times, I aint digging it . Now I realize that Asia only has 3 albums worth hearing. All from the early 80's. Then the band quit making music until the 90's.
I read the reviews, that's why I reckoned they'd be good.
Now, what I'm going to do is listen to modern music from iron maiden and see if it fares any better.
Iron Maiden is the same way with Asia: The reviews say the modern music is good.
But, I haven't given my say on the matter yet...

Classic Maiden is much better than the newer albums of theirs. While the instrument playing is as good or better than ever, Bruce's vocal style is pretty much all the meandering unstructured singing that he does. While the music is fine, you aren't really going to get any catchy tunes like Number of the Beast or Hallowed be thy Name anymore.

Also, I could see how many people could accuse the early 80's Asia of being horrible. Which it is sort of. It's corny music... but in an enjoyable way.
So, based on that. The asia of about 30 years later... has got to be horrible. Or should I say slightly bad and bland.

Which probably isn't that interesting. Now that I think of it.

I could also tell her, that sammy hagar has an album and song called V O A.
And...
Asia has a song called voice of america. Which is also what the hagar song means too! Both songs came out around the same time. I just now noticed that.
And, I have no clue what voice of america means.
