...watching TV commercials.
Yet somehow millions have been fooled into watching a football game for TV commercials on one day only. Superbowl Sunday.
Remarkable isn't it?

Well I didn't because I am not a football fan. Which sort of forced me to have to drag out my DVD collection last Sunday because out of an incredible 300 plus channels, there was nothing on worth watching.
That is an increasingly worse trend with television because most if not all the channels show much the same sort of content in a sort of forced media rollout. Because all the channels are owned by a small number of media companies there is no longer any diversity of televised content.
Now don't get me wrong, I occasionally enjoy a few commercials if they are amusing and avoid the use of doorbells, door latch clickings, and telephone ringings.
But more to the point, lack of diversity in television programming is having an adverse effect on televised advertisements. Because nobody will see those advertisements if they have to find something else to do besides watching bad television programming consisting of marathons of reality TV.
You need more science fiction shows and cartoons to balance out all that reality TV if you want to keep people watching shows and commercials.
