when I say this really is not the type of thing I'd usually enjoy. I mean, just look at the freaking cover for crying out loud. That cheesy, corny pre hair metal 80's hard rock sound just isn't for me. The thing is, I've always had a soft spot for Sammy Hagar. I mean sure, 80% of his lyrics suck ass and he's been stuck in the 80's since the Montrose debut which was released in the fucking 70's. All that said, there's something so charismatic in his pomp and demeanour and while I'm not a fan of 80's guitar he can sure as hell play not to mention his incredible voice.
So, Sammy, I'll make a ONE time exception for you and your 80's cheese you son of a bitch. Yeah, your Montrose and VH material is way better, but this is loveable in a half guilty pleasure half actually not that bad kind of way. Sammy, just make sure you don't catch me on one of my pretentious days otherwise you may never hear from me again (or the other way round, hehe).
