In the mid-90's, when some engineer-type knocked on your door so he could tune your TV to receive Channel 5?
I lived in St. Margaret's, near Twickenham, when this happened.
How come no-one came round to tune the TV for Channel 4 in the early 80s?

How come no-one came round to tune the TV for Channel 4 in the early 80s? Was to do with the new UHF signal being used clashing with VHS recorders. The original signal for the other channels were full up.
