abc6.com Warwick student-parent told she can't walk across stage at graduation with her son | ABC6
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A high school student-parent in Warwick is graduating Wednesday, and all she wants is to walk across that stage with her son. Valerie Landry gave birth to her son, Grayson, in December of 2022, when she was 16 years old. “He’s one of my biggest achievements in high school. It took a lot, and I’m very proud of him,” Landry said. “It’s one of my biggest things, and I’d be honored to have him up on stage with me just to show everybody that you can push through anything.”

She apparently graduated 'with honors'
They must not have Sex Ed as a requirement.

At first glance I thought it was about a student who wanted his mother to walk with him when getting his diploma, and I thought "Jeez, how much of a momma's boy can you be? You will never hear the end of it from your classmates, buddy!".

I can't see the mind-numbingly stupid culture war angle here, though I'm damn sure there is one.

If she'd have started pumping them out when she was 11, she maybe could have had as many as 6 or 7 kids trailing behind her as she received her diploma.

But she didn't, so your point (should there be such a thing) continues to elude me. I genuinely don't understand why someone who appears to hate people as much as you do spends so much of his free time interacting with them. Unless it's revenge.

Interacting? you mean this forum? Because otherwise I do what I can to avoid them whenever possible.
If you can't see the poor example it's setting letting teen mothers parade their kids at high school graduations, then we're just gonna have to agree to disagree on what helps or hinders the culture.

If getting knocked up at 16 is her 'biggest achievement', then I guess she doesn't have plans for university.
