So... you saw St. Elmo's Fire 20 times in the theater when it first came out in 1985, but didn't watch Aliens, released in 1986 until a year ago? I have never seen St Elmo's Fire. I have never seen Beaches I have never seen Fried Green Tomatoes It is possible to avoid films. Ordinary films maybe, but not Aliens. Amirite thekindercarebear?

They mostly come out at night. Mostly. I saw aliens because I like Lance Henriksen. I have avoided the others. Probably been Alien. Probably saw some pieces of others, but haven't really pursued watching them. Seen bits of them. 20 minutes here, 20 minutes there. Prefer Pumpkinhead Like Godfather. Never seen it in one sitting. Maybe haven't seen all of it. Maybe just half.

Why would I see the sequel when I absolutely hated the original? Maybe you would have matured and your taste in movie would have improved over time.

Why would I see the sequel when I absolutely hated the original? Because Lance Henriksen is a national treasure.

Why would I see the sequel when I absolutely hated the original? Because Lance Henriksen is a national treasure. Not a fan of anything he was in, but Witches of Oz looks interesting. Andrew McCarthy is a national treasure.

Less than 14 hours left to vote, Bump. I thought 'The Other Side of the Door" was some legendary porno?

Like Godfather. Never seen it in one sitting. Maybe haven't seen all of it. Maybe just half. Maybe you can get Ken to explain it. I don't get the allure of mafia movies. Jommy Cagney gangsters, sure. But the mafia stuff? No. I worked with a gal who was really into them. Fantasized about living that life. No. Why worship a criminal organization?
