Go reread what you wrote. You still have 5 pennies. You may have 0 sets but you still have 5 pennies.
The pennies don't disappear.
I got to take a little time.....a little time to think things over.

For crying out loud. If you take any quantity and you multiply it by nothing. You still have the quantity. If you take any quantity and you divide it by nothing. You still have the quantity. The quantity hasn't changed. This reads like Buddhism as filtered through a TBI.

You still have the 5 pennies. They didn't disappear. In the math world they do. In the real world they don't.
And a TBI is a throttle body injector.

And a TBI is a throttle body injector. Wrong. Put zero pennies on your table. Add five pennies zero times.
You still have zero pennies, no pennies appeared.
There is no need for them to disappear since they never appeared in the first place.
Now add five pennies three times. Now there are fifteen pennies on the table, not twenty.

I'm seriously gonna try to help you through this: Johnny has 3 sets of 5 pennies... How many pennies does Johnny have? Suzie has 2 sets of 5 pennies... How many pennies does Suzie have? Paul has 1 set of 5 pennies... How many pennies does Paul have? Pathfinder has 0 sets of 5 pennies... How many pennies does Pathfinder have? Johnny has 3 sets of 5 pennies... How many pennies does Johnny have? 15 Suzie has 2 sets of 5 pennies... How many pennies does Suzie have? 10 Paul has 1 set of 5 pennies... How many pennies does Paul have? 5 Pathfinder has 0 sets of 5 pennies... How many pennies does Pathfinder have? 5
They don't disappear. This is one of the peculiarities of math.
It's too bad that Enron didn't have you as an accountant. You could have saved them from bankruptcy!

And a TBI is a throttle body injector. 5 times zero is, [drumroll please]: zero. You are invoking the commutative property of multiplication. I will illustrate that property
XXXX XXXX XXXX
There are three rows and four columns. Rows × columns will always yield the same result as columns × rows. So 3 × 4 will always = 4 × 3
It can be more difficult to see when there are zero rows of 5 or 5 columns of zero.

I have a choice piece of real estate in Manhattan. It's 5 miles long and 0 miles wide. I'll sell it to you for a great price! Normally 5 square miles of Manhattan real estate is valued at about 300 billion dollars, but I'll let you have it for the incredible price of only 1 million dollars!
