Having this today but on a Pretzel Bun instead of a bread bun. Got everything I need at store today. Saw this picture and had to try it. Will let you know if it was good.

Yes. On Friday we had it with horseradish and for lunch on Saturday I had another one with my favorite mustard instead of horseradish. Both were great. Definitely going to have it again.

A little hot giardiniera and some au jus and it would be perfect.

That would make a good evening snack.

A little hot giardiniera and some au jus and it would be perfect. Thanks aya. That would be great on that kind of sandwich IMO. I knew what giardiniera was but I had to look up au jus. Going to get more pretzel buns this weekend hopefully and try that on them.

I always hear people talking about pretzel buns, but as someone who tends to throw away the top bun or pick away at the bread (I don't like to eat bread), I just eat whatever the good stuff is in the middle.

I don't really like pretzel buns, not even in the context of a hamburger. Just like I don't like ciabatta buns because they are a choking hazard.
I would rather have the roast beef sandwich on pumpernickel bread with mustard and sliced red onion instead of cheese.
